"When I first became a CNIB client after losing my vision, Lynn was our Vision Rehabilitation Therapist. I met her at a time when everything felt uncertain. It is through her patience, encouragement, and practical guidance, she helped me realize that blindness didn't mean the end of my independence.
Whether we were learning daily living skills, exploring adaptive techniques, or navigating life's new challenges together through workshops, Lynn always created an environment where questions were welcomed and confidence could grow. She has a remarkable ability to break overwhelming tasks into manageable steps, helping you believe that independence is built one skill at a time.
The lessons I learned from Lynn continue to shape how I navigate the world today. Her knowledge, compassion, and genuine belief in people's abilities make her an exceptional Vision Rehabilitation Therapist and teacher. I wholeheartedly recommend Lynn to anyone looking to build confidence, regain independence, and discover new possibilities after vision loss."

"Our mother lost her vision in her 80's. It was extremely important to her to be able to live on her own and to be as independent as possible. She had high expectations of herself and also of others. She became an expert in seeking out low-vision resources. Somehow she found her way to Lynn Jensen, who was the best resource of all.
Our mother participated in Lynn's online group sessions and found them to be invaluable in so many ways. Sometimes we sat in on these sessions with our mother. Lynn was always very organized, positive, clear in her delivery of information, and open to questions no matter how simple or complex. Lynn handled technology with ease, and treated everyone with kindness and a sense of humour.
Our mother looked forward to her on-line meetings with Lynn and with the other participants. They could talk openly about challenges and share creative ideas for navigating every day life. The fact that Lynn herself is blind added hugely to the value of these sessions. She took our mother's concerns seriously and because low vision is also Lynn's lived experience, she was inspiring and gave our mother hope.
We all enjoyed Lynn’s matter of fact approach to life. We will always be grateful to Lynn for helping our mother retain her dignity and independence.
Thank you Lynn from all of us."
